Giulio Cesare Andrea Evola, better known as Julius Evola (Rome, 19 May 1898 - Rome, 11 June 1974), was an Italian philosopher, painter, poet, writer and esotericist. He was a multifaceted personality in the Italian cultural landscape of the twentieth century, because of his multiple interests: art, philosophy, history, politics, esotericism, religion, customs, studies on race.
