MINO DELLE SITE - Biography

Domenico Delle Site, known as Mino (Lecce, 1st May 1914 - Rome, 1996), was an Italian painter and sculptor, exponent of futurist Aeropainting. After the Second World War it was also influenced by Cubism and abstractionism. His works are in the permanent collection of the Gianni Caproni Air Force Museum (Trento) and on the paintings they were exhibited in 2000 at Palazzo Grassi (Venice). Gerardo Dottori and several critics wrote about Delle Site: Luigi Tallarico, Enrico Crispolti, Claudia Salaris, Francesco Grisi, Mario Verdone, Maurizio Scudiero.
