NADEZNA UDALSOVA - Biography

Nadezna Udalsova was a Soviet artist, exponent of Cubism and Suprematism. Udaltsova's professional debut was as a participant in an exhibition on the Diamond Infantryman in Moscow in the winter of 1914. But it was in 1915 that she really made a name for herself as Cubist artist, participating in three major exhibitions that year, including "Tramway V" (February), "Left Trend Exhibition" (April) and "The Last Futurist Exhibition: 0.10" (December). His paintings were later collected and exhibited in the 1920s by the Tretiakov Gallery, the Russian Museum and other places as examples of Cubo-Futurism.
