VITTORIA RUTIGLIANO - Biography

Vittoria Rutigliano was born on 10/2/1971 in Puglia, in Conversano in the province of Bari.
He began his artistic studies by attending the Fabric section of the State Art Institute of Monopoli and in
1996 he graduated from the Academy of Fine Arts in Bari, first in Scenography and, a few years later,
also in Decoration.
He has always painted and drawn, integrating his artistic training with that of music. Has
studied piano and later cello. This constant immersion in music is transformed
often in aesthetic and pictorial form. There is no painting of Vì that was not created by listening
music.
Since 2010 he has dedicated himself exclusively to Collage and Photo Collage, acquiring great mastery
of the technique, developing personal bonding methods and experimenting with different interactions with
paints, supports and frames.
The original and distinctive features of his collages are the construction of images with images, the balance
in the composition, the large and airy backgrounds, the numerous "scratches" on the works on canvas.
The technical experience and artistic maturity have allowed her to compare herself also in areas
usually far from collages such as sacred themes or commissioned portraiture.
