CONTEMPORARY ART OF SABRINA RAVANELLI

Sabrina Ravanelli lands in New York:

Sustainable brand art lands in the United States. Sabrina Ravanelli, founder of this current of which The Map Reportsi is already occupied several times, has created the portrait of Marcelo Claure. Entrepreneur and top manager from La Paz, the capital of Bolivia, but American by adoption, born in 1970, Claure is CEO of SoftBank Group International, a global technology conglomerate, and COO of SoftBank Group Corporation.
The portrait of Maestro Ravanelli, made with strictly ecological materials, will be exhibited in the Manhattan house of the American-Bolivian businessman. We remind you that brand art consists in identifying, through portraits, the managers (entrepreneurs or top managers) of companies who, in this way, put their face to us in the name of transparency and responsibility.

The Contemporary Art of Sabrina Ravanelli interprets the loss of identity from Covid:

With this work, the Milanese artist wanted to represent the state of bewilderment that many people have been experiencing since the outbreak of the pandemic. It is, in fact, a loss of identity, understood not strictly in the physical sense, but in the fall of the reference points to which our values, behaviors and lifestyles were anchored until a year ago.
One of the missions of contemporary art is precisely to represent the reality of the time, as the painter wanted to do. The work, of cm. 110 × 90, is developed on a multitude of masks, precisely those distributed in recent months by the Municipality of Milan. This personal protective equipment (dpi) has become, for better or for worse, an icon of this tragic period. Without disputing its usefulness, Sabrina Ravanelli who, moreover, is also known as a portraitist, finds a visual symbol of this depersonalization in a tool that hides half a face. Known as a "material queen" for her skill in handling materials, the artist will be back at auction next February with "Attention, Maschicidi in corso", a singular work developed on a triangular canvas of cm. 60 × 60 at Meeting Art in Vercelli. Sabrina Ravanelli already boasted some jokes at the Milanese auction house Art-Rite, where she has always exceeded estimates. Guest at the 2017 Venice Biennale at the Armenia Pavilion, protagonist of a solo exhibition last year at the historic Galleria Lattuada in Milan, she is the head of the brand art, which consists of representing images (especially portraits of entrepreneurs or top managers) reminiscent of a company, superimposed on the brands of the company itself through an elaborate material technique.
