Lattuada Gallery is pleased to present to the public the solo exhibition by Pino Pinelli, “Homage to a Friend,” which will take place from March 10 to April 30, 2026.
The exhibition brings together a significant selection of works created by the artist from the 1980s to 2000, offering an in-depth reading of one of the most coherent and radical trajectories in Italian artistic research of the second half of the twentieth century.
The exhibition project highlights one of the central aspects of Pino Pinelli’s work: the dissemination of the artwork into space, understood as a surpassing of the traditional concept of the painting. The works expand across the wall in a dynamic relationship between form, color, and architecture, directly engaging both the space and the viewer’s gaze. Another distinctive element of his poetics is the originality of his artistic technique, which combines formal rigor with chromatic sensitivity, transforming color into an autonomous and structural material.
On the occasion of the exhibition, a catalogue will be produced, with critical essays by Alessandra Pinelli and Flavio Lattuada, exploring the human and intellectual relationship between the artist and the gallery, as well as documenting the body of works on display.
